While we will continue to update this block with more features and thus recommend this block over the shortcode we will not drop the shortcode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, we will remove the shortcode generator from the plugin in a future update. Instead, we\u2019ll explain how to use the shortcode on this page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Shortcode parameters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The shortcode will alow the following parameters (with their default values).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">'limit'         =&gt; '-1', <em>\/\/ -1 to show all <\/em>    \n'sortby'        =&gt; 'name', <em>\/\/ Supports 'name', 'id' or 'date' <\/em>  \n'columns'       =&gt; '2',  <em>\/\/ Value between 1 and 5   <\/em>\n'showdate'      =&gt; 'true',     \n'showexcerpt'   =&gt; 'false',     \n'showcategory'  =&gt; 'false',<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use the basic version<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The basic shortcode will load the your portfolio with default settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted shortcode\"><code>companion-portfolio<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use the parameters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Using the parameters you can modify the output given by the shortcode.
